Jane Ansell, Director of Sleep Scotland and TEENS+. Jane founded Sleep Scotland in 1998 and has continued to develop and extend the service offered to children with additional support needs and their families. She works closely with the Scottish Executive, Local Authorities and other professional bodies to raise the profile of sleep issues in general and the impact sleep deprivation can have on families. She is an experienced Sleep Counsellor and lecturer. In 2006 she developed TEENS+, a new 4 year post school transitional education programme for young people with complex needs. From 1992 to 1998 Jane ran the Professional Development Unit in the Department of Continuing Education at the University of Edinburgh. Jane has also worked as a social worker, community worker, and lecturer and manager in adult education. She is a parent of three children one of whom has complex additional support needs. |

Emma Vinnie is Sleep Scotland’s Counselling Co-ordinator. Emma provides support and information to parents, professionals, and to Sleep Scotland’s Sleep Counsellors and Local Co-ordinators. Emma has worked for Sleep Scotland since July 2000 and has worked in most parts of the organisation. Emma previously qualified as a primary school teacher and also works as an adviser for the Citizens Advice Bureau’s In-Court Advice Service. |

Karen Jenkinson is Sleep Scotland’s Training Officer. She is responsible for managing and co-ordinating the Training Courses and Conferences run by Sleep Scotland. Previously Karen worked in the Financial Sector in a variety of Management roles including Human Resources and Marketing. She also has an extensive background of voluntary work with adults and children with additional support needs. |

Hannah is Sleep Scotland's Administrative Officer. Hannah provides an administrative service to the staff at headquarters as well as providing an administrative and information service to sleep counsellors across Scotland. She is often the first point of call to professionals and families contacting the office. Hannah graduated from The University of Edinburgh in 2005 with an honours degree in music and recently moved back to Edinburgh to pursue a career in the voluntary sector after spending twelve months teaching English in South Korea. She has a background of voluntary work with children. |

Nina Jones is the Administrator for the Transitional Education, Extra Needs Support Project (TEENS+). Nina is based at the Sleep Scotland headquarters providing administrative support to TEENS+ team. Nina is a qualified Shiatsu practitioner working in Edinburgh. She has worked in the voluntary Scottish Voluntary sector since moving to Edinburgh in 1999. |

Saskia is the Administrative Assistant for both Sleep Scotland and TEENS+, rotating between sites on a day-by-day basis.
Having grown up in Zimbabwe, Saskia moved to Scotland in 2004 where she went on to complete an honours degree at the University of Edinburgh in German and Italian. Since then, Saskia has been pursuing her interest in the non-profit sector through her work for the Edinburgh World Justice Festival, and more recently in a professional capacity for Sleep Scotland. |
