"Sleep is an essential part of existence, without which there are serious psychological and physical consequences" [Stores, 2009]

Sleep Scotland have developed Sound Sleep, a teaching pack and training day for education professionals throughout the UK. The project, which was launched in 2011, aims to raise awareness in schools of the importance of sleep for our emotional and physical wellbeing.

The training dates for 2012 are shown in the following table.

Edinburgh Twilight Session Course Wednesday 30 May 2012 from 15:40 to 18:00
Friday 8 June 2012 from 13:40 to 16:00
Glasgow One-Day Course Thursday 31 May 2012 from 09:50 to 15:40

We will be running further training courses in 2012. If you are not able to attend any of the courses listed above, then please complete our survey to let us know which dates and local authorities you would be interested in attending. Alternatively, you can contact Jo on 0131 651 1392.
