Sleep is vital for growth, good physical and mental health, mood and memory and lots more. Find out more about why we need sleep.

All children are different, but we’ve compiled some guidelines for how much sleep different age-groups usually need.

Sleep Scotland trains sleep counsellors to support families with their children’s sleep, using cognitive and behavioural methods. Read all about what we do and who our sleep counsellors are here.

We offer sleep support to families in Scotland via local face to face sleep clinics, our sleep support line, and sleep support sessions. Sleep Scotland have also trained sleep counsellors who are running sleep services across the UK. To access support, check What’s available in my area?
