Hours: 19.5 hours per week during the Support Line opening hours – Monday to Thursday, 10am to 4pm
Location: Blended – working at home and at our Edinburgh office in Gilmerton, Edinburgh
Salary: £19,318 p.a. pro rata i.e. £10,762 p.a. for 19.5 hours

Sleep Scotland has been running a Sleep Support Line since 2017. We provide advice, guidance, and support for parents and carers of children and young people with sleep problems through telephone calls and emails. We are looking to recruit a Tier 1 Telephone Sleep Advisor to the team.
As a Tier 1 Telephone Sleep Advisor you would provide general sleep support and advice over the phone to the parents and carers of typically developing children and young people with sleep issues. By listening to the parent/carer on the telephone, you will work to provide ideas and suggestions to improve the situation e.g. a good bedtime routine, gradual withdrawal techniques, action required in the middle of the night etc. Knowledge of sleep is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
This position is subject to PVG Scheme membership/ update to existing PVG Scheme membership
